Olim Fund of the Galilee
April 2006 Report

Shalom Dear Friends of the Olim Fund of the Land of Israel,

I bring special greetings to you today on this 58th Anniversary of the independence of the modern State of Israel. While Donna and I stood on our balcony last evening watching the fireworks display lighting up the sky over the Sea of Galilee and our city, with the Golan Heights illuminated in the background, we realized just how very much we have been blessed to be here in the Land of our inheritance with a ministry to reach out to other Olim who are not as fortunate as we, and who must continue to struggle to meet even their very basic survival needs.

I am happy to report that your Fund is doing very well as we continue to extend your helping hand ever further throughout the Land.
It is especially gratifying to see how well our two newly associated dental clinics in the greater Haifa area are functioning to relieve pain and suffering for about 1/3 the usual cost of such professional assistance. Four such specific needs were referred to our now three clinics and are not yet reflected in the current report but will be in a future report when actual costs are known.

I wish there was a way for me to fully express how very much you have blessed these hurting immigrants in their quest to survive here in the Land. Time and time again, you have relieved pain and suffering, saved homes, and so many other things, but most of all, through your loving outreach, you have provided badly needed encouragement to those who have been in despair and through this, given them the strength to persevere.

You can be sure that the Lord God of Israel will bless you greatly for what you have done and what you are doing on behalf of these dear ones of His choosing. After all, He says so very clearly in His Word: "I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." (Gen. 12:3)

With many blessings and heart felt thanks,

Bob Fischer
