Dear Friends of the Olim Fund of the Galilee,
Last evening, I once again had the honor
of chairing the meeting of our Board of Advisors whereat we prayerfully
determined precisely how to distribute your most generous gifts
to our hurting olim families.
As you may be aware, the economic situation
in Israel has recently been seriously strained by a nationwide
strike. While the strike has now ended it had great impact on
many of our olim families. Thus, you will notice that several
of our families who received your help this month were included
in this group.
The terrorist war continues to wage seemingly
out of control and this too has had a great and choking impact
on our employment situation. The olim, most of whom are at the
low end of the financial situation are especially impacted by
this.
Your help is so greatly appreciated. I
can't find words to express how much you have done to give my
people in this situation encouragement through your generosity.
I know that you will be greatly blessed
as you have blessed these dear ones.
