Shalom Dear Ones,
This has been a difficult month for me and the Board of Advisors.
We spent several hours last evening agonizing over how to dispense
$6,907 among requests, all of them legitimate, totaling $19,808.
First, let me say how very grateful all of us are for your continuing
generosity and concern for these dear ones who have answered God's
call and come home to the Land, only to meet heavy financial burdens
that has left so many in a barely surviving mode.
When I look at hose that you have been able to help, I can do
nothing but rejoice, while at the same time, when I look at those
that we had to reject, or help in only a very limited way, I am
filled with something less than joy, although all of us do struggle
to remain positive in the face of this ever growing need.
The problem isn't you, those who are so generously already supporting
this outreach, but rather it is our collective failure to get
this message out to others who would likely join in and also help
to meet these needs.
At the moment, I am finalizing a DVD version of a 16 unit
4 Credit Hour Seminary Course entitled "the Jewish Origins
of Christianity." I taught this in residence for the first
time at Faith Seminary in Tacoma, WA in September and it was enthusiastically
received by a class largely populated by pastors.
The good news is that Sid Roth and others are planning to mass
market this "mother of all Jewish roots courses" to
the greater Christian market, and the even better news is that
any and all net proceeds on the Israeli side of this venture will
be donated to the Olim Fund.
The potential here is obviously very great to properly endow this
Fund. I am telling you all of this to elicit your prayer support
for this project. I have just narrated Unit Six of Sixteen and
there is much work to be done. Please do lift this up in prayer,
along with those of the olim family here that we have already
helped, but especially those who we have sadly been required to
turn away, at least for now.
Finally, I have also attached a recent e-mail received from one
of our Russian Congregation pastors in Haifa. Believe me, you
are all greatly appreciated.
In the love of Yeshua,
Bob Fischer
Shalom. We've recieved the finacial help
from your
fund. We've been in such difficult situation. Thank you for
participation in our needs. We've so thankful for the open
hearts of people who supports your fund.
Also, thank you very match to Bob Fisher and his team
for the work they are doing here in Israel. For the love and
compassion to our nation. God bless you.
Pastor from Haifa.
